Welcome to the District 4 page. It is my privilege to be assigned the District 4 Sergeant's responsibilities. The Chatham-Kent Police Service takes pride in serving our citizens and are committed to making Chatham-Kent the safest community in Ontario.

In accomplishing our "mission" our service recognizes the need to work together with all community members. Our service has developed many professional partnerships in a collective effort to problem solve and prevent crimes. The prevention of crime and particularly crime involving neighbourhoods, is a responsibility which must be shared equally by our service and citizens.

I wish to thank-you for visiting the Chatham-District 4, and encourage you to get involved in "Community Engagement".

The Community Patrol officers are responsible for the protection of life, the prevention of crime, the enforcement of all Federal and Provincial Statutes, and our Municipal By-Laws. Officers assigned to Community Patrol work a variety of shifts throughout the day and respond to calls for service on a priority basis with those calls that are likely to endanger life or any person taking top priority. Other officers assigned to uniform duties are stationed at the Headquarters front desk reception area, where citizens call or attend to report incidents.
