Telephone Crime Alert

This automated telephone messaging system is free to all residents of Chatham-Kent. This proactive telephone crime alert program has been in effect since 1987, each year we endeavour to create further awareness about it and continue to expand it. This past fall the system was redesigned so that telephone crime alert messages can now go to the zones in all four districts, thus covering all of Chatham-Kent.

You only require a telephone to become part of this Crime Prevention Program. This free service will supply you with information pertaining to crimes that would not hinder our investigation. We continue to use a computer to do the automated dialing so that hundreds of residents can receive a computer-generated message over their telephone within a couple of hours.

If you wish to become part of this free program and are a resident of Chatham-Kent you can attend any police service center to register for this free program, or email CKcpps@chatham-kent.ca or call 352-4650.
